February 12, 2025 SCTAG General Meeting
Metting was called to order at 9:35
LeAnn welcomed guests and a new member.
Susan presented the treasurer’s report, and presented the new 70th anniversary banner.
LeAnn announced that we will have Saturday play days starting in September where people can work on projects at MCSC.
Marilou showed a scrapbook from the 70’s and 80’s. Marilou reminded everyone that the deadline for the CNCH gallery submissions is March 1.
LeAnn presented an update on programs:
March – tablet weaving
April – mixed media
May – medieval distaff spinning
Maggy presented an update on the library displays. The Boulder Creek Library display will begin on 6/28 with a reception and demonstration. Live Oak will start in July. Susan handed out sign-up sheets for display items.
Roberta gave an update on the Radius Gallery exhibition. There are 20 artists displaying 47 pieces. Contracts will be going out to the artists. We need volunteers for the yarn bombing.
Kris Nardello gave a talk on her early experiences with the guild.
Members shared their work.
