Textile Arts Exhibit Opening at the Boulder Creek Public Library
Join us for a lovely day of textile arts at the Boulder Creek Public Library! Textile arts made by members of the Guild will be exhibited at the library, for the community to see what it is the guild does. At this exhibit opening, Guild Interest Group members will demonstrate textile art processes such as spinning, weaving, basketry, tapestry, and natural plant dyeing.

Guild Member Art Display at the Live Oak branch Public Library
Textile artworks created by members of the Santa Cruz Textile Arts Guild will be on display at the Live Oak branch of the local public library system.

Play Days at the Felton Branch Public Library
Bring your current portable projects, including those you might need help with. Socializing will add to the fun. Bring your lunch or Felton has a number of great restaurants. These Play Days will occur monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the month, 8/27/2025 to 8/26/2026.

Gayle Ortiz lives in Capitola and has owned Gayle’s Bakery & Rosticceria for 47 years. She’s been making things her entire life; first under the loving hand of her mother, who made something every day of her life.
