Updates
Roberta updated the board on the application progress for the metal/fiber show. The deadline for applications is 12/15 and there are only a few applications. It was decided to keep the deadline, then invite artists to participate, including artists from outside the guild, including artists from the Carmel Craft Guild and the Black Sheep Guild. Bruce will provide a URL to Roberta for non-member applicants.
Elizabeth provided an update on the holiday party. The doors will open at 10:30. Marilou needs clarification on the use of the microphone and the sound system and Elizabeth will confirm. LeAnn and Marilou will do a history display on Peruvian weaving from the Ann Blinks collection.
Ann Scoby needs an alternate location for Vicky’s April workshop.
Marilou met with Amy regarding the 70’s scrapbook which is badly degraded. It needs to be preserved in acid free paper and box. The cost for the box is $80 and the paper $30. Patrice moved to approve the cost and LeAnn seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Bruce has a document copy camera should we wish to use it for document preservation purposes as well.
