March 12, 2025 General Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 9:36 am

LeAnn welcomed visitors.

Elizabeth and Patrice gave an update on the Museum of Discovery experience in February, which was energizing and swarming with children.

Marcia gave an update on the library.

Susan gave an update on the library exhibits.  The Boulder Creek Library exhibit will run from June to July with a gala opening.  The Live Oak Library exhibit will be in August, and the Felton Library exhibit will be in October.

Marilou gave an update on the flipcharts, which will feature various guild crafts and explain them to the public.

Susan and Alex presented ideas on the use of guild funds to the members and called for volunteers for the committee to disburse them.

Bruce reminded everyone about the upcoming workshops:

Tablet weaving March 29

Mixed media weaving on a small loom April 9 and 10

Medieval distaff spinning May 14

Marilou presented the new bookmarks and Susan and Roberta showed the announcement postcards for the Radius Gallery exhibition.

Marilou gave an update on CNCH.

Kris invited the guild members to participate in the Spring Market Booth at the Radius Gallery on May 10, and passed around a signup sheet for sales, demonstrations and hosting the booth.

Roberta gave an update on the Radius Gallery exhibit and passed out the announcement postcards.  The gallery needs gallery sitters and a signup sheet was passed around.  Roberta also passed around a signup sheet for the gallery yarn bombing adopt a structure.
