October 9, 2024 SCTAG General Meeting Notes
The meeting was called to order at 9:34 am.
LeAnn welcomed guests and new members.
LeAnn presented the Treasurer’s Report for Susan, who was absent.
Ann Scoby presented the details for the December holiday party to the members. The Holiday Party will be on December 11 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. It is a potluck and members may bring guests for $5 each.
Alex summarized the survey results she did during the previous meeting for ideas to celebrate our 70th anniversary next year.
Joan Near, who is the CNCH chair for the 2025 Asilomar conference, shared some of the details with the members. The conference starts on April 24, 2025 and runs through the 27th. There will be 13 workshops. The details can be found on CNCH.org. Registration opens on 1/15/2025.
Alice Beasley shared a fascinating presentation on her quilting via Zoom.
