Hello SCTAG Guild Members!
Your Board of Directors has good news and bad news!
First the bad news: We have cancelled the June potluck meeting at Valencia Hall.
Now the good news! The Board has voted to suspend dues payments for the 2020/2021 year! Here are the reasons:
1) We saved money on cancellations of speakers and venue, enough to cover next year’s annual membership contribution to CNCH.
2) We have a healthy bank account.
3) As we move forward, if you’re not comfortable coming to meetings, you don’t have to feel like your dues were wasted.
Here’s our plan: Since we don’t meet in the summer anyway, we are going to begin planning meetings starting in September (with what should be a bang-up show & tell!!) We will of course play this by ear and will cancel if Covid-19 rules are still in effect. We have great speakers set for October through June, 2021! Let’s hope we can enjoy them!
