November 16, 2022 Meeting

We had a small (8 of us) but productive meeting filled with lots of sharing and so much info with fascinating discussions for passionate natural dye types.
We decided that we will continue to schedule our meetups on the third Wednesday of the month for 2023. I will continue to be the liaison, send out communication, keep a notebook of our meetings and dye samples . As per the original plan, now that the group is launched we will share responsibility for the group. So for next year think about how you can pair/triple up with someone to be in charge of a meeting and its planning. NO worries!  You don’t need to have expertise in the topic, just an interest in the topic or a suggestion for a topic (and many kind people to help you). I will still send out the group email for the day. ( just forward the info to me). So, with group input your little team would take care of organizing the dye day or meeting and then keep the meeting/dye day on track. We generated a list of topics of interest and have tentatively filled in some of the year. All of course subject to change.
We also had a new member join us today, welcome Karin!
Our email list of interested people is getting long, which is great! However, we are going to ask everyone on the email list to RSVP for any announced event or meeting which will indicate continued interest. So with the January 18 meeting announcement we should have a much better idea of our active group and those interested in continuing with us!
Attaching the tentative schedule for next year. No December Dyeversities. So Happy Holidays and maybe we’ll see you at the guild gathering at Suzanne’s!
Also the resource list.
